What is gigBuddy?
gigBuddy is band management software for gigging musicians. It puts gigs, rehearsals, availability, setlists, songs and chord charts, invoicing, bookkeeping and a public link-in-bio page (linkBuddy) in one web app that installs on your phone. It is made in the Netherlands by bosDAT and is available in English and Dutch.
Who is gigBuddy for?
For bands that gig regularly, for solo artists and session players who play in several bands, and for band managers and bookers who run more than one act. A band gets one shared workspace for all its members, and every musician also gets a personal agenda that shows all their bands together.
Is gigBuddy free?
Yes. Band Bronze (one band, up to five members) and Artist Bronze (your personal agenda and discography) are free forever, with no credit card and no time limit. Paid plans add setlists and live mode, invoicing, full bookkeeping, merch and promotion tools, and start with a free trial.
How is gigBuddy different from other band management apps?
Most band apps stop at planning and setlists. gigBuddy also does the money side properly: gig terms and contracts, invoices with e-invoicing and Mollie payment links, a double-entry ledger with bank statement import, and VAT help for Dutch bands. One subscription covers the whole band, and a musician in several bands sees all of them in one agenda.
Does gigBuddy have a mobile app?
gigBuddy is a progressive web app (PWA). You install it from the browser on iPhone, Android or a laptop, and it works like a normal app, dark mode included. Setlists in live mode, timetables, availability and receipt capture are all built for the phone.
Does gigBuddy work outside the Netherlands?
Yes. Planning, setlists, songs and linkBuddy work for bands anywhere, in English or Dutch, and invoices can go out as UBL, Peppol, XRechnung or Factur-X e-invoices. A few features are specific to the Netherlands: help with the Dutch VAT return and the Buma/Stemra setlist export.
